Who we are

This website (avalanchevssnowball.co.uk) provides a free debt payoff calculator. We are the data controller for the limited data described below.

What data we collect

We do not collect, store, or process your personal data on our servers. The calculator runs entirely in your browser. Any numbers you enter (debts, balances, interest rates) stay on your device or in the URL if you share a link — we do not receive or store them.

URL and sharing

If you use “share” or copy the link after entering debts, your plan may be encoded in the URL. Anyone with that link could decode it and see the figures. Do not share links if you do not want others to see your data.

Third-party services

We use:

• Google Analytics — we use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used (e.g. page views, traffic). Google may collect data such as IP address, device type, and pages visited. Their privacy policy and how Google uses data from sites that use its services apply. You can opt out via the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
• Google Fonts — fonts are loaded from Google’s servers; their privacy policy applies.
• Chart.js (CDN) — the chart library is loaded from cdnjs.cloudflare.com to draw graphs; we do not send your data to them.

We do not use advertising or other tracking cookies beyond Analytics.

Your rights (UK / GDPR)

Because we do not hold personal data about you, there is no data to access, correct, or delete. If you believe otherwise, please contact us using the details on the Copyright & terms page.

We may update this policy occasionally. The “Last updated” date at the top will be revised when we do.
